Westland
[ ]Hartland (1 sub-board)
One of the largest towns within the nation of Westland as well as one of the closest to the boundary. Hartland is nestled in the Hartland Valley of the Hartland Woods and is the center of government in Westland.
00
[ ]Ven Forest (2 sub-boards)
A dense forest east of Hartland Woods consisting largely of maple, balsam fir, oak, pine, spruce, white birch and nannyberry trees which turn crimson as Autumn approaches. Native wildlife includes wolves, rabbits, beavers, snakes, frogs, and a variety of birds, particularly ravens.
00
[ ]Southaven (1 sub-board)
A place of thieves and misfits, little more than a collection of ramshackle buildings and houses fit crookedly in among the oaks and beech, almost as if to turn themselves away from the road, from the queries, from righteous eyes. None of the buildings look like they have ever seen any paint. Some have tin patches that drum in a steady rain. In the center of the town is a supply store, and next to it, a two-story building with a clumsily carved sign declaring it to be an inn, (but not offering any name), both owned by a stout proprietor named Bill.
00
[ ]The Skow Swamp
Surrounded by a sodden wood of cedar. The swamp itself is a bowl in the earth at the bottom of a sharp slope. It smells of wet and rotting dense vegetation. Woody vines hang from slick twisted limbs of trees that stand in the water on roots looking like claws, and smaller leafy vines spiral around anything strong enough to hold them. Everything seems to be growing on top of something else. Water, dark and still, sits in stagnant expanses as if it had been steeped with decayed vegetation, and sneaks in under clumps of bushes, enveloping stands of fat-bottomed trees. Duck weed drifts in thick mats on the water, looking like manicured lawn. The lush growth seems to swallow all sound, allowing only the native calls to echo across the waters. Large trunks of trees stand like columns in the mire.

Midlands
[ ]Aydindril (3 sub-boards)
A city in the center of the Midlands and was the home of the Confessors, the wizards, and the Central Council of the Midlands. It is also the location of the Wizard's Keep, the home of the First Wizard. It is a beautiful place. Many of the side streets are narrow with tightly packed buildings and tiny courtyards. The streets were always teeming with people, especially the market streets. Each of the larger lands of the Midlands have their own palace located in Aydindril, though each is nothing in comparison of the splendor of the Confessors' Palace.

[ ]Wizard's Keep (3 sub-boards)
A huge fortress that overlooks the city of Aydindril. The Wizard's Keep is carved into a mountain and there are literally thousands of rooms. Magic radiates from the Keep and the web's that protect it are surpassed by none.
The Keep is the home of wizards.

11
[ ]Anderith (4 sub-boards)
Anderith was named after an ancient Wizard, Joseph Ander who enslaved the Magic of the Chimes within the nation's defenses called the Dominie Dirtch. Two different races settled in this country in the Midlands, the Anders and the Hakens. The Anders were recognized by dark hair, while the Hakens all had bright red hair.
00
[ ]Galea (1 sub-board)
A large and powerful land.
00
[ ]Kelton (1 sub-board)
Galea never had very good relations with Kelton. Keltish weaponry is renowned as being the best of the best, possibly because of the large number of armed forces at the nations disposal.
00
[ ]Rang'Shada Mountains (3 sub-boards)
A vast spine of rock that runs northeast across the "back" of the Midlands - from the northeast corner down the center of the Midlands, leveling off as it reaches the Wilds in the south. The name is a conjunction of two words from the old tongue of Emperor Jagang's homeland, Altur'Rang. The word Rang translates loosely as "The Chosen" and Shada is the word for an armored war gauntlet with spikes. Rang'Shada translates roughly as "War Fist of the Chosen". Cradled within the mountains is the remote place known as Agaden Reach, home of the Witch woman, Shota.

A country in the northwest Midlands. Also the home to the Blood of the Fold. A group whose sole purpose is to stamp out magic.

00
[ ]Mount Kymermosst
The mountain to the northeast of Aydindril, where the Temple of the Winds once resided
00
[ ]Wilds (1 sub-board)
The wilds spread all across the southern portion of the Midlands. It is an open grassland, named not after the land, but after the people who live in it. It consists mostly of unchanging, open, flat plains with tall grass. Trees are few and far between, mostly birch and alder in clusters along streams. Crossing logs (with no hand rope) are used as bridges across the streams. It is home to a number of native peoples, including the Mud People. The Kings' Port lay to the west of the Wilds, less than a week's walk south-west from the Mud People's village. No one lived in the west portion of the Wilds near the boundary.

D'Hara
[ ]Azrith Plains
The lowland places in D'Hara, around the People's Palace.
00
[ ]People's Palace (2 sub-boards)
The home of the Lord Rahl and is effectively the capital of D'Hara. The Palace is a place of exquisite beauty, that masks a much deeper meaning. The halls of the Palace shift at seemingly odd times, though not to one with the gift. The People's Palace is in itself a huge Power Spell, meant to diminish the power of gifted who visit the Palace and enhance the power of a Rahl. It does so very effectively and even the most powerful sorceresses and wizards will soon have next to no power at their disposal after a short time at the Palace. At the center of the Palace, their is a room called the Garden of Life. It is a place were the power of magic is heightened and was built for the specific purpose of using the gift.
